Join the Roots & Routes Network to celebrate Dia de los Muertos! The event will begin with a procession from the west side of the 35th St Pedestrian bridge at 11:00am. Participants can expect an afternoon of singing, dancing, art activities, and an abundance of marigolds.

Roots & Routes Presents: Summer Solstice at La Ronda
Come enjoy the Summer Solstice at La Ronda to revive the La Ronda Parakata Gathering Space! This is a family-friendly community stewardship event to "re-wrap" the La Ronda Parakata sculpture with willow branches. The day will feature art, stewardship, culture, a plant giveaway, and a performance by Banda Tarasca. Bringing your own picnic fare is encouraged. We hope you'll join us! Please RSVP.

This event is the last of “The Portal,” an artist-led series of live events which bring together colorful creatives, organizers, and mobilizers to explore new media initiatives that will amplify the movements of today and the future. It includes interactive media, live music, a jam session, local vendors, food trucks, and a talk about public policy and socio-economic spaces for artists.
